Evelyn's Own is a Heritage Home located at Pachmarhi (Madhya Pradesh, India) at about 2 kms from the Market Area on the outskirts of the Army Cantonement Area and walking distance from the Lake.

Evelyn's Own has a 100 year old history of colonial heritage dating back to 19th Century. It is now owned and managed by Retd. Col. Balwant Rao.

Evelyn's Own offers a homely atmosphere, personalised but laidback service, a selection from 12 heritage rooms, each having its own unique fervour.

Facilities comprise swimming Pool, lush green outdoors and a hobby Room cum Bar. However what attracts guests to visit over and over again is the complete peace and solitude it offers. 

Only well-informed couples and families are welcome here and boisterous bachelors are avoided.

Activities besides the usual sightseeing and boating of pachmarhi are :

• Trips to Satpuda National Park Forest (Overnight Stay at Forest Guest house inside the National park can be organised by Retd. Col Rao with permits etc.). Park is ideal for Wildlife spotting, Birding and Fishing.
